Taylor holds a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine and an Advanced Diploma in TCM from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Taylor has lived close to nature growing up in British Columbia, where he played football and took a keen interest in exercise from a young age; this is where his love for human performance was born.

Through his experiences living in Thailand and meditating with Buddhist monks to working as a Personal Trainer in the nutritional supplement industry, Taylor questioned how the human body, mind and spirit could be optimized for peak performance and self-acualization.

The combination of an eager curiosity and passion for health led him to pursue a career in preventative and holistic health care with Chinese Medicine.

Taylor combines Classical Chinese Medicine with Evidence Based methods in his practice. Modalities practised include Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, Tui Na, Shi Liao (Chinese Dietary therapy), Chinese Herbal Medicine and Movement Medicine.

Taylor is passionate about collaboratively working with his patients to create a holistic approach towards their health.

Cupping Acupuncture

What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic healthcare system with over 2,000 years of history. TCM uses natural treatments like acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal remedies, dietary advice, and bodywork such as cupping and gua sha. In Canada, TCM is a regulated profession performed by Registered TCM Practitioners (R.TCMP) and Acupuncturists (R.Ac).

TCM takes a holistic approach, considering all aspects of your health to diagnose and treat the root cause of your condition. Your practitioner will create an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive understanding of your symptoms, lifestyle, and overall health.

SOME OF OUR Services

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is the use of thin, single-use sterile needles that are inserted to stimulate the certain acupuncture points on the body to achieve therapeutic response. The response to acupuncture can influence the nervous, endocrine, immune, cardiovascular, and digestive systems. It is also excellent at stimulating hormones and neurotransmitters for pain relief.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion is a herbal heat therapy where Mugwort (Ai Ye) is used near the body, stimulating the acupuncture points. It enhances the treatments effects through heat and infrared light.

HERBAL MEDICINE

Herbs are carefully selected to create an individualized herbal formula for you. They can be taken as a tea.
