Etobicoke massage therapy

Massage therapy is hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, joints and connective tissue that will help relax the tissues and alleviate pain and dysfunction from postural strain, injuries or chronic pain conditions.

Massage therapy benefits include:

- improving blood circulation that will help bring oxygen and nutrients to tissues, promoting healing and reducing inflammation

- stimulates the body's natural healing processes

- the pressure applied to the muscles and soft tissues during a massage can trigger the release of endorphins, which are natural painkillers that can help to reduce pain and promote relaxation

- stimulates the lymphatic system, which is responsible for removing waste and toxins from the body

- reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol, which can help to lower blood pressure and promote a sense of calm and relaxation - this can be especially beneficial for people who suffer from chronic stress or anxiety

Overall, massage therapy works by promoting relaxation, reducing tension and pain, and stimulating the body's natural healing processes. With regular massage therapy sessions, many people find that they experience improved overall health and wellbeing.

Research has shown massage therapy to be helpful for the following conditions but not limited to:

Anxiety
